FIRST KART RACE ON PLASTIC WASTE

In the weekend of September 14, Sepco Industries, together with investor Cloud Horizon, organized the first karting competition on pyrolysis oil . You could say that the karts raced on plastic waste, because that is where this pyrolysis oil was made from.

The karting competition was part of a major event of Cloud Horizon in Bangkok. The pyrolysis oil that was used came from one of the PolyPetrons realized by Cloud Horizon. MORE THEN 1.5 MILLION KG OF PLASTIC WASTE CLEANED UP IN 3 MONTHS

On June 10, the first commercial PolyPetron from Sepco Industries, the machine that can convert 20,000 kg of plastic waste to 15,000 liters of clean oil per day, went operational in Thailand. Since then, 1,568 million kg of plastic waste has been disposed of and converted into 1,146,100 liters of clean, low-carbon oil with an ultra-low sulfur content (Advanced BioFuel).

The first two weeks of production were used to regulate the process and “only” 13,000 kg of plastic waste was processed per day. The PolyPetron Gen.5 now runs at full speed and processes 20,000 kg of plastic waste per day and converts it into 15,000 liters of clean Advanced BioFuel.

There is more good news, Sepco Industries is currently finalizing the construction of a second PolyPetron at the Sa Kaeo Waste Management Facility in Thailand. In addition to the realization of PolyPetrons in Thailand, we are also working hard to realize a number of PolyPetrons here in Europe and elsewhere in the world. More on this soon.

Fortunately, themes such as sustainability, the circular economy and the environment are increasingly higher on the agenda of many provinces, municipalities, companies and investors. That is why it would be fantastic if Sepco Industries could realize one or more PolyPetrons in Europe in collaboration with these parties. Preferably in the short term, of course. Because the more PolyPetrons, the more plastic waste we can clean up.

SEPCO INDUSTRIES IS TACKELING PLASTIC WASTE PROBLEM FASTER THEN EXPECTED

As you know by now, Sepco Industries is working hard to tackle the plastic waste problem by turning it into clean oil.

Developments are going much faster and better than expected and the course that Sepco Industries has chosen is a huge success. For example, it is expected that by the end of the year, Sepco Industries will be the largest producer of pyrolysis oil, oil from plastic waste. And oil companies are already standing in line to take this oil from us.

FIRST COMMERCIAL PLASTIC-WASTE-TO-OIL-MACHINE (POLYPETRON) OPERATIONAL

In this post we bring big news; the commissioning of the first commercial Polypetron ™ Gen.5 in Sa Kaew, Thailand.

This first commercial PolyPetron now runs at full capacity and produces no less than 18,000 liters of super clean, low-carbon fuel (Advanced BioFuel) per day.

There is even more good news, because after a few improvements to the production process, no sulfur can be measured in the produced fuel . Where previously a sulfur content of 0.0122% was measured, this is now 0%.

The special thing about this PolyPetron is that it is fully financed by private individuals who have bought packages through investor Cloud Horizon. We think it is great that these individuals did not wait for the government to tackle the plastic waste problem, but took their own responsibility and took action. Fantastic!

In the coming period much more news will follow, because at least 49 more PolyPetrons are being built in Thailand. Together, these 50 Polypetrons are cleaning up 330 million kilos of plastic waste, annually. Sepco Industries is building these PolyPetrons next to landfill sites so that there is sufficient plastic raw material available and the supply lines are short.

SEPCO EXECUTIVES JOIN RECYCLING AWARENESS EVENT IN CHONBURI, THAILAND

Sepco Industries’ CEO, Dr. Metta Visessombat and COO, Jonas Wadenholm joined a community event hosted by the Nong Prue Municipality to build awareness of the need to find sustainable solutions to the excessive waste crisis.

Nong Prue is essentially a suburb of the dazzling beach city of Pattaya in Thailand, and more importantly, it is the municipality where one of the first fully commercially operating Polypetron™ Gen. 5 Waste Plastic to Fuel Production Facilities is being set up. Nong Prue alone has a volume of 120-150 tons of solid municipal waste per day. Pattaya City produces over 400 tons of waste daily.

This event which was graced by the Governor of Chonburi Province as guest of honor, featured Dr. Metta and Jonas among its main speakers. The Mayor of Nong Prue in addressing the audience, offered tribute to the Founding Researchers of Sepco Industries who have tirelessly labored for over 18 years to perfect our pyrolysis system up to the current fifth generation Polypetron™ model which has the capacity of turning 20 tons of plastic waste into an average of 15,000 liters of fuel per day. Significantly, the process is ultra clean and efficient, and the pyrolysis oil product draws a premium price due to its superior quality and the high diesel yield it delivers. This information caused quite a buzz among government officials and general citizens alike who were present at the event.

Attendees listened with rapt attention as Dr. Metta and Jonas articulated the manifold benefits of our innovative system. Many of them consequently paid a visit to Sepco’s booth and presentation table which showcased the fuels produced by our process along with other beneficial byproducts. We also had on display samples of other useful products that can be developed from non-plastic and organic waste matter, offering a total circular economy model.

This highly successful event further cemented the strong relationship already being forged between Sepco, administration officials and local residents of Nong Prue, the site of one of our first model communities for sustainable and eco-friendly waste management.
